Mt. Mikane, located on the eastern edge of Nishio City, Aichi Prefecture, is a place rich in nature.
It is also a perfect landing spot for the chestnut butterfly, the only butterfly known to cross the ocean, to fly out to the open sea.
The chestnut tiger butterflies arrive here as a stopover during their autumn migration, and fly from here to faraway places such as Kikaijima, Amami Oshima, Okinawa, and Taiwan.
This Junmai Daiginjo sake is brewed using "Yumeginka," a new variety of sake rice developed in Aichi Prefecture, and underground water from the foot of Mt. Mikane.
It is said that this sake was brewed with dreams and hopes of spreading from this land to the world.
