Asaka Comeback Support Fair Held.

Here are 4 selections our staff currently recommend

Thank you for always using TOKYO SAKE BASE.

Since our representative, Asaoka, collapsed this spring, we have received far more concern and warm words from many people than we could have imagined.

Thank you very much.

Currently, Asaoka himself is making a steady recovery, diligently working on his rehabilitation.

On the other hand, the daily operations and sales continue to face challenging circumstances.

Amidst this, our staff spontaneously organized this Asaoka Revival Support Fair, thinking, "Let's do what we can now."

We have gathered original bottles that embody the essence of TOKYO SAKE BASE, and other selections that we particularly want to recommend at this time.

Rather than simply asking for purchases "to show support," we have curated items that are genuinely delicious and meaningful to choose.

We would be delighted if both those who support TOKYO SAKE BASE and those who are not yet familiar with us would take this opportunity to try our selections.

Summary

・What is the Asaoka Revival Support Fair?

This fair is a project initiated by our staff to keep the company going, rather than simply waiting for Asaoka's return.

TOKYO SAKE BASE is not solely built on the passion of one representative.

Connecting with breweries, delivering to customers, creating spaces, and nurturing brands—these daily efforts are supported by everyone involved.

    That's why, this time,

"What TOKYO SAKE BASE can do now"
"What we want to deliver now"

were reshaped and introduced as this fair.

There are limited edition bottles, and also selections imbued with the aesthetic sensibilities and philosophy unique to TOKYO SAKE BASE.

Although the word "support" is included, the premise is to offer items that people genuinely want, even without the context of support.

・Recommendation ① "Arche Venus (ἀρχή Venus)"

We wanted people to enjoy sake more naturally, even in evening establishments.

With this in mind, we asked Yamazaki Gōshi-san in Aichi Prefecture to produce this original bottle for us.

Asaoka often told me that they put a lot of effort into the label, and it was quite challenging (laughs).

It's a vibrant and refreshing cloudy sparkling sake with a gentle mouthfeel, making it easy to drink even for those not accustomed to sake. Yet, it leaves a distinct impression.

It's not just "easy to drink"; it brightens the atmosphere of any occasion while also embodying the aesthetic sensibility of TOKYO SAKE BASE.

Its official name is "Arche Venus (ἀρχή Venus)."

"Venus" evokes the goddess of bubbles, symbolizing vivacity, exhilaration, and the festive nature of this sake.

Meanwhile, the brand name "ἀρχή" means origin or beginning.

This name carries the aspiration not just to create a special sake,

but to "make it something that becomes a new standard for sake."

It's not a temporary promotional product, but something that can be a new gateway.

Arche Venus positions itself as the "beginning" of a world where sake can be enjoyed more freely and naturally.

"I want people to enjoy sake more naturally, even in evening establishments."

This special label is actually made of metal.

It has a visually luxurious feel, making it perfect as a gift or for a special occasion.

I believe this bottle perfectly represents both the "boldness" and "philosophy" of TOKYO SAKE BASE.

    ・Recommendation ② "Radio Special Bottle"

This is a special bottle created as a promotional item for "Phylosofy powered by TOKYO SAKE BASE," which has been airing on Kawasaki FM since April.

We specifically asked Ishizuka Sake Brewery, who brews "Hime no I" in Kashiwazaki, to create it for TOKYO SAKE BASE.

The base of the sake is four-stage brewing of fresh sake with mochi rice, a characteristic of the brewery.

While possessing a unique character not easily found elsewhere, it aligns perfectly with the context of TOKYO SAKE BASE, making it a limited edition bottle truly special to this project.

Originally, we wanted to present this bottle with the label completed sooner, but due to Asaoka's health, label production is slightly delayed.

Therefore, it will be shipped as soon as it is completed (scheduled for around July-August 2026).

However, we deliberately included this bottle in this fair not just because it's a limited edition.

It's because this bottle truly embodies what TOKYO SAKE BASE wants to do in the future: not just selling sake, but also delivering it through communication and cultural creation.

It's a special bottle, both in the sense of "now or never" and "quintessentially TOKYO SAKE BASE."

    ・Recommendation ③ "Zaku Yamazan Ittekisui"

At a time like this, we wanted to include a classic, powerful sake.

With that in mind, we added "Zaku Yamazan Ittekisui" to this fair.

It has the refined impression typical of Zaku, and a luxurious feel suitable for gifting.

It's not overly flashy, yet it has a distinct sense of specialness, making it a sake you'd genuinely want to drink or give now, even without the context of a support fair.

It plays a very important role in expressing our stance of thoroughly recommending genuinely delicious items.

For those who want to "choose a sure thing"

or "choose something genuinely high-quality while also showing support,"

this is a highly recommended sake.

    ・Recommendation ④ "Telmont Réserve Brut"

In this fair, we deliberately included not only sake but also this particular bottle.

This is because what TOKYO SAKE BASE values is not the "category" itself, but delivering things that truly move the heart and improve the atmosphere.

Telmont Réserve Brut is a very symbolic bottle in that sense.

It has a celebratory feel, is vibrant, yet not frivolous.

It possesses an elegance that goes beyond mere flashiness, creating an atmosphere suitable for special occasions.

Although it's called a Revival Support Fair, what we want to convey is not a sense of tragedy, but positive energy to move forward again.

In that sense, this bottle is a perfect fit.

    To toast with someone.

To open for a milestone occasion.

Or for a day when you feel like "choosing something a little nice."

    ・Summary

This Asaoka Revival Support Fair was spontaneously launched by our staff with the idea of "doing what we can now."

We would be delighted if this fair could help support TOKYO SAKE BASE in its current situation, even a little.

And above all, we hope that all of you who always support us will enjoy each of these selections with gratitude.

We look forward to your continued support of TOKYO SAKE BASE.
